Those whole wheat banana waffles are very easy to do. Made with simple ingredients that most people have in their kitchen. They are sweetened with bananas only so no syrup or other extra sugar necessary. If you bake them long enough they turn gold and crispy. Such a treat for your child and yourself!
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup soy milk
2 ripe bananas
1 tbsp coconut oil
Turn on your waffle iron.
Mix together the flour and baking powder.
Add the bananas, soy milk and melted coconut oil to a blender and blend until smooth.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until the batter is smooth.
When the waffle iron is heated up, pour enough batter on it to cover the whole surface.
Bake for about 5-8 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
