This is an easy white bean dip recipe that is vegan and made with just a few ingredients that you might have on hand at home. And if not, maybe you should get them, because this white bean dip is a one of a kind and makes a perfect snack if you serve it with crackers and veggies. You can also spread it on bread, add veggies and make a delicious sandwich out of it.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup onions, white, finely chopped
½ tbsp marjoram
⅛ tsp allspice
⅛ tsp cloves
½ tsp nutritional yeast
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp salt
1 can navy beans, rinsed
3 tbsp water
1 tbsp soy sauce
Directions:
Blend beans with water and soy sauce until smooth and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Once hot add onions and saute for a few minutes until golden brown.
Next add all of the spices and saute for about 30-60 seconds.
Now add the bean mixture to the sauteed onions and spices. Saute for another 1-2 minutes.
Serve warm or cold.
