This truffles are very rich. The cashew butter makes them very chewy once in your mouth, and a bit bitter and dry which comes from cacao powder. They are sweetened with dates only and have just the right amount of sweetness. You can add almost any dried fruit or nut to it to make it your own flavours. On the picture you see the truffles being decorated with sesame seeds, coconut flakes, orange peel and goji berries.
Ingredients for the truffle base:
¾ cup cashew butter, raw
¾ cup dates
¾ cup cacao powder
Ingredients for the decorations:
Sesame seeds
Coconut flakes, shredded
Orange peel
Goji berries
Directions:

Add all ingredients for the truffle base in a food processor and blend until a uniform paste is reached.

Scoop out 1 tbsp of paste and form into a desired shape between your palms.

Decorate with the rest of the ingredients.
ATTENTION:
This should not be fed to small children as big chunk of nut butters are considered a choking risk.
