Vegan Mushroom Pate
This vegan pate is made out of mushrooms, walnuts, oats and bunch of herbs and spices. It’s easy to prepare and makes a delicious snack or fancy appetizer.
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup onion, diced
2 cups mushrooms, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
¼ tsp paprika
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp parsley, dry
½ tsp chilli
¼ tsp thyme
1 cup walnuts
2 tbsp oat flour
Heat olive oil in a pan. Once hot add diced onions to it and saute for 5 minutes.
Add diced mushrooms and saute for another 3 minutes.
Add minced garlic and all spices (salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, parsley, chili, thyme) and saute for 1 minutes. Set aside and let it cool.
Once cool add the vegetables to a food processor along with walnuts and oat flour. Pulse a few times until desired consistency is reached.
