Here is you crepe recipe! It’s the healthiest version you can find online. Follow this vegan crepe recipe and you will know how to make crepes within few minutes. It’s a basic crepes recipe that uses only 3 ingredients: whole wheat flour, plant based milk and coconut oil. It’s the best and easiest crepe recipe!
Ingredients:
1 ½ cup whole wheat flour
3 ½ cups plant-based milk
Directions:
Combine the flour and milk. Whisk together until a uniform liquidy batter is formed. (The batter has to be very watery, otherwise it will be a pancake)
Heat a your non-stick pan* on medium. (You need a really good one, otherwise it will stick to the pan.)
Once it’s heated add ¼ cup of the batter and spread it by tilting the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.
Cook for 90 seconds, then flip carefully and cook another 30 seconds.
Take the crepe off the pan and put it on a plate. (Don’t worry if they seem too stiff or crispy, they will soften later.)
Repeat until the whole dough is gone.
Stack the crepes on top of each other. The heat will make them sweat and ensure that they get soft and bendable later.
Notes:
* A really good non-stick pan is needed for the best results. Even an old non-stick pan that has been used for a while, can make your crepes stick to your pan, so you might want to get a new one.
These crepes taste the best when fresh and warm. They also keep in the fridge for several days. Make sure to keep them in an airtight container because otherwise they will dry out.
