Granola Bar Recipe
This is a healthy granola bar recipe! The granola bars are chewy and crunchy at the same time. It is an easy recipe that you can prepare really fast and store for days to have a healthy snack on hand. The granola bars are vegan, sweetened with dates and raisins only and very tasty.
2 tbsp flax seeds
6 tbsp soy milk
¼ cup almond butter
¼ cup water
½ tsp salt
½ cup oats
1 cup almonds, chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Line a baking pan (approx. 17 in x 11 in in or 43 cm x 28 cm) with parchment paper and set aside.
Mix flax seeds and soy milk in a high speed blender until an egg like consistency is reached.
Add dates, raisins, almond butter, water, and salt to the blender and mix until everything is well combined.
In a separate bowl add oats, chopped almonds and chopped walnuts. Pour in the wet mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
Transfer the mixture into your lined baking pan. Spread it and press firmly down.
Bake in the oven for 20 min.
Remove from pan and let it cool completely before slicing it.
